3 Quotation Posters

^This one might be kind of hard to read. It says, "Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase".

  1. I think the first one is nice and simple but it gets the point across. I especially like how you made the word heart in red and it stands out on the page i think that makes the word stronger.
In the second one i like the quote and the way you made the words get bigger but i couldn't really see the first word and i think its kinda plain.
The third one is your best in my opinion, i like the quote and the way you put the background as a lighter version of what the quote said is way cool.

  2. the first one is cute because of the simplicity with the little bit of color to make it pop
the second one i was a little confused with because the writing is so small and the words went the wrong way, but since you added the part below the picture it was better
the last one was my favorite because it had a cool background and bold letters to get the point across

  3. The first one just makes me feel good in side.

For the third one how some of the words used in the quote are in the background i so tight.

  4. 1 - the red jumps out at you, which is good. perhaps a larger font would be a little easier to read them.
2 - i like the fact that its going up and you have to read it from bottom to top. i actually think this is perfect. (i would buy it)
3 - the background is amazing! all the words all scrambled but in a different shade. maybe the focus point on the poster could be a different color.... but overall really good.

  5. 1st: Nice curves on this one and cool font. I would change it so the font is a bit bigger and easier to read.

2nd: Good idea and nice blue color that matches the white nicely. I think it is to small and hard to read but it certainly got me interested.

3rd: I like the shadowing effects how words repeat themselves in the background and how the font goes down in steps. I think it is a little busy and hard to read at first.

  6. 1st poster:
i like that you used red for the word 'heart'. i do think, though, that you could have made the quote bigger and used up a little more space.
    2nd poster:
i like the colors, but it's really hard to read. i think the idea of the words gradually getting larger is good, but they just started out too small.
    3rd poster:
this one is my favorite. i really like the black and grey combination and how you put in the quote several times in the background.

  7. "Heart"
The font in black on the white is very crisp. The curves are nice and symmetrical, and the word heart stands out with color and by being completely horizontal. Even though I like the white background, just for some diversity I may add some soft hue or texture using a brush.

    "staircase"
So I like how you made things get proportionately smaller by going backwards like that. I think you could take that concept and either reverse the words in the quote (I thought you were supposed to start at staircase), or even make the quote into the shape of a staircase!

    "Fear itself"

favorite! Black and gray tones are grungy and create an intriguing backdrop. The variation of the the size of the font in the back is also a cool feature!

I would make the word "itself" smaller to balance everything out, and while the repetition of the quote in the balance is definitely a strong point in your poster, I would look out for the same words becoming an unwanted drop shadow.

  8. So for the first one, "The best and most beautiful..." Well I really like the idea but, I'm not sure about what you did with it...I like how the word "heart" is in red so that it stands out. I also like how it is nice and easy to read.

For the second one, "Faith is..." it was harder to read but still okay and I think it flowed together better than the first one did. The background was nice and simple, and I like the colors and the font. So maybe more detail would be good, but overall I think this quote looked pretty nice.

For the last one, "The only thing to fear..." I like the idea of the quote, not sure I agree with it but I like it anyway...I also really like the background, it stands out and in this case I think that is a good thing. I also like the way you aranged the text.

  9. 1. maybe larger font and to me the curved words looked uneven somehow.....other than that it's fine

    2. can't read much of it but it looks cool. i like the blue and white....

    3. this one is my favorite. i like it mostly because it's black, white, and gray.
